There's no need to mourn the end of summer - September 2016 brings us Bridget Jones’ baby, autumn and a fresh wardrobe. The dark mornings may be back but you can get snuggly in a big scarf and drink a hot chocolate! It's almost the season to be jolly, so you may as well start now. Olivia Hughes, our resident fashion expert, gives us her picks to do just that.
Bomber Jacket Boom
The bomber jacket is that casual piece everyone needs. Whatever colour, metallic or non metallic, patterned or plain, they promise to give your outfit a little bit of sass.
The pyjama shirt - wear it as a co-ord or by itself with some tailored trousers, jeans or a skirt, or shorts. The perfect mid-season option.
Where's your split?
Rose gold, blush pink and rose pinks are still very popular. Try and incorporate a split in your outfit somewhere, especially for date night.
The platform white or nude trainer is comfy but chic. Perfect for a city break.
The pointed loafer or brogue gives a the slight masculine edge to your outfit (think Zara style).
Embroidery is everywhere - from handbag to jeans and jackets.! Boyfriend or Mom jeans work best when teamed with a basic t-shirt or baggy jumper. You can find this style of jean in most high street stores. Team them with a trainer and you’re good to go!
